NURTURE

Nurture is a documentary about life that refuses to stop during war.

Through the intimate stories of five Ukrainian women, the film explores how people continue to make love, create families, explore art, build business, care for one another, and prosper while the war is still happening. Each woman embodies a different form of nurturing life: through the body and touch, through art and rebuilding after loss, through continuing the work of a loved one, through femininity and movement in a city marked by trauma, and through protecting the next generation.

“Nurture” is about choosing life during war, because Life is not something we put on hold in times of crisis. Life is what we build now.
